Recruiting works for the 8th “Faret Tachikawa Art Photo Contest”!
We will be holding the “Faret Tachikawa Art Photo Contest” again this year.
Anyone can apply as long as the work is photographed by Faret Tachikawa Art.
We also plan to hold a photo exhibition of the submitted works and produce a calendar using the winning works.
Please feel free to take photos of your favorite works or moments that you want to share with everyone, and submit your wonderful photos that are full of your love for “Faret Tachikawa Art”!
■Contents of the submitted work
Photographs that include “Faret Tachikawa Art”
*Any work other than “Faret Tachikawa Art” will be invalid, so please check the work on the website or MAP.
■Eligibility to apply
Anyone can apply.
*If you are a minor, please apply with the consent of your guardian.
■Application deadline
: Must arrive by Friday, Jun 3rd, 2022
■Up to 3 entries per person
■Conditions for submitted works
*Please note*
If the conditions are not met, your application will be invalid and will not be considered.
Is it a Faret Tachikawa art work? Is the photo paper or size standard? Please check carefully before applying.
①Printed photos (color or monochrome available)
*Digital photography or film photography does not matter.
*Applications using digital data, positive/negative film, etc. will not be accepted.
*If outputting with an inkjet printer, print on photo paper.
② Size: 4-cut, wide 4-cut, A4
③ Shooting period: Saturday, Jun 12th, 2021 – Friday, May 27th, 2022.
④Unpublished photos taken by the applicant himself/herself. The work must also be an original work for which the applicant owns all copyrights.
⑤ Works that fall under the following cannot be submitted:
1 . Items that are currently being applied for, scheduled to be applied for, or have won prizes in the past in other contests, etc.
2 . Photos taken in places where entry or photography is prohibited, or photos that violate laws.
3 . Images that have been processed by using image processing software, etc., such as erasing, adding, or compositing parts of the image.
4 . Items that are judged to be contrary to public order and morals.
5 . Items that are judged to infringe on property or privacy.
6 . Items intended for profit or items related to politics, religion, etc. are displayed.

Grand Prize…Certificate/prize of 50,000 yen for 1 person
Tachikawa Mayor’s Award…Certificate/product for 1 person
Tachikawa Citizen’s Award…Certificate/product for a few people
Honorable Mention…Certificate/product for a few people
■Judging/Result Announcement/Photo Exhibition/Award
① Digitally photographed works and film photographed works will be judged without distinction.
②First round of judging: Winning works will be determined by judges selected by the organizer.

③Photo exhibition/popularity vote: Works will be exhibited and the general public will vote on the winning works.

④Final Judging: The winning works will be decided based on the results of the popularity vote and the judges selected by the organizer.

*Winners will be notified directly, and the winning works will also be announced on the organizer’s website, etc.
⑤Award Ceremony: The award ceremony will be held in mid-October (scheduled).
