Faret Tachikawa Art Museum Day 2022 Spring
The Faret Tachikawa district at the north exit of Tachikawa Station, which has 109 pieces of public art by 92 artists from 36 countries around the world, will be transformed into an art museum, and various programs will be held. Please come and visit Faret Tachikawa, Tachikawa’s world-class public art town.

■Outdoor play “Bird’s Eye View of the Sky Doctor and his Flight Assistant – BIG RED POT Edition”
A new outdoor play by Tachikawa Sozosha will be performed.
Dr. Tenku, a researcher on “Scenery seen from the sky,” and his flight assistant who pilots the flying Fushigi with him on board, land with a red flower pot as a landmark. What kind of scenery did the two of them see from the sky?The mysterious history will be unraveled. Canceled in case of stormy weather.

■Talk event “Faret Tachikawa Art School vol.7”
This is a close learning and exchange meeting between Issei Kitagawa, who designed the Faret Tachikawa Art logo, and a wide range of experts. This time’s guest is Tomoyuki Yokoyama from Tachihi Strategy Lab Co., Ltd., who was central to the development of the complex facility “GREEN SPRINGS” across from Faret Tachikawa. We will talk about the development concept, its thoughts, and future prospects.

■Art tour
This is an art guided tour where the Faret Club, a volunteer group with extensive knowledge of Faret Tachikawa Art, introduces artworks. You can listen to stories from various works and writers. Will be held rain or shine, canceled in case of stormy weather.

■Special exhibitions “30th Anniversary of Tachikawa City and Omachi City Sister City Partnership” and “Northern Alps International Art Festival Report Exhibition”
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Tachikawa City and Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture’s sister city relationship in 1991.
We will look back on our progress to date and the Northern Alps International Art Festival held in Omachi City from October to November last year through a panel exhibition.
■“Elementary School Faret Tachikawa Art Appreciation Classroom” report exhibition
The “Elementary School Faret Tachikawa Art Appreciation Class” is held as part of art classes at Tachikawa City Elementary School. After the on-site tour, works created by the children will be displayed as part of their learning experience.
